Adam Zdvihal

I was working in estate agency Century 21-Wembley Park, close by Preston Road station. I was working in administrative. I´ve met here lot´s of new interesting people mostly foreigners as I was. My workmates were Raj, Asim and Jamil. They were from India and they were one of most kindness people I know. Whenever I need some help they came and help me but when is was problem which I know how to deal with it they just say me you can do that you know how to solve it. It was nice from them, because it was one of my greatest experiences in my life.

How did I spend my free-time? Variously. But I traveled around London a lot and I tried to avoid classic sightseeing. Because I have seen most of them and there is lots of tourist that´s one thing that I don't like. So I was looking for new places build by one of many London´s community. In London you are able to meet almost every culture and this is one of most beautiful things on London. Whenever you will get lost and you have hour or two free don´t stress out just enjoy you will always find something that you will like. It could good restaurant of Hindi temple. Just enjoy it as I did.

I went to work in London with some classmates from 21 February to 5 March. This enjoyment is a great experience for me. I had a choice spoke and heard real English,
visited the sights and learned about culture. I worked in the company Prontaprint Harrow with Karolína Hejdová. Our company worked with design and print. Employees proposed posters, business cards, brochures, cards and obituary. We tried to help with every work.
We worked with printing machines which copyd or cut paper. We helped with bookkeeping. My the best experience was work with bookkeeping or printing machines. Every day after the work we visited with friends monuments. I think London is very interesting town. At first we visited the Oxford Street. Here we were shoping. Then we visited Emenems World and Leicesrter Square, where we listened concert. In Picadelly Cicrus we saw neon billboards. First weekend we visited with classmates the Westminster palace and Kings Cross. My best experience was Sky Garden.

Our trip to London started in 21. February.
I was very happy to be in London again and I looked forward to 14 days in London. Second day wasn´t good. We had to be at 9 o´clock in the ADC College and this morning started problems. No bus didn´t stop us so we waited about 2 hours at the bus stop. I said: "We have good experience for tomorrow." and it was true because we arrived to work about one hour earlier.
I worked with my schoolmate in Prontaprint - it is ad agency. Journey to work were too great because we travelled only 2O minutes. First day was fine, only our colleague was impolite to me and Domča. Our supervisor - Emma - was fantastic. When we came we got a work so we didn't bored. The others day were worse because we got less work. But it is really super I can great tee with milk after these 2 weeks. During the work experience I tried to work with printers and copiers, sometimes we talked with customers, we were at post office and we did what they needed.
Last day we finished earlier at the work and we went to ADC College. We got a certificate and then we could spend the time as everybody want.
If I have the offer to work in London once again I will surly accept it. I am grateful to my school for this experience. 

Karolína Jírů

I worked at The Library at Willesden Green.I was still in touch with customers and colleagues at this work. My supervisors were Noman Ali and Sharifa Edwards. All were to me very nice and helpful. We held sessions with young children, with whom we sang, but also with children from schools. We put a lot of books back to shelves, worked with computers, formed and distributed questionnaires to customers. I was the only Czech first week.

Since we had free evenings we went into town, sometimes together with other classmates. We were not working, so we had a program with Mrs. professor and other students from our school over the weekend. We saw the parliament, Sky Garden, Big Ben, the Museum of London and many other monuments. We also visited Greenwich Park and Oxford Streetwhere we bought a lot of things for us, our family and friends.

I definitely have new experiences and wonderful memories with this opportunity. I improved my English and Sharifa offered me a summer job. I am still in touch with a few colleagues and we plan meetings during the summer holidays.

Marie Semorádová

From 21st February to 5th March I was on work placement in London with my classmates. I worked in Manor House Development Trust. Mostly I worked in my office (I worked with my computer, made and completed tables, , edited long documents and I rewrote texts from pdf to MS Word. When wasn't so much work in office we went on the garden a there we took care of plants. The most interesting day was "Jobs fair" for me. It was day when came people which edited CV and peopla which can help unemployed. It was really interesting. I was on reception and I help others with completing registration form. 

Michaela Šejnostová

From 21th to 5th March I was on work experience in London with my classmates. I worked in Migrant's Resource Centre in Penfold Street. It's a small company which helps to migrant, asylum seekers and refugees with their problems about marriage, Visa, traveling etc. I had to open the door to client, give them form to fill in, put information from forms to computer and correct mistakes in the database. One day I helped to other workers with their cases.

My name is John and I was working in RKUA. My task was writing emails to customers or correcting them in MS word or excel. It was really interesting job and I learned a lot of new things. Sometimes it was little bit exhausting because of working whole day on computer. My whole stay in London was totally super. I had a lot of free time so I visited many places and ate so many different kinds of food. I would go there again, again and again! I stayed in family with my 2 classmates and we were lucky because our family was very good. Only problem there which we had was with food because they gave as almost vegetarian food and this was something what we really didn't like. Some time we also spend in ADC Collage. It was nice there but it could be little bit shorter because me and my friends didn't really need help about traveling in London etc.
